Your Users Are Not Confused
Your Onboarding Is
We were tired of software entrepreneurs not knowing why their users were leaving, and yielding churn. So we built Intelligence.

I want to tell you about something we quietly built on the side. It started with a frustration I kept hearing from developers, and product managers. They knew their product had an onboarding problem. They could feel it in the churn numbers, in the support tickets, in the silence after a free trial. But they had no idea where exactly things were going wrong. Hiring a UX consultant was expensive. Running user tests took time. And most analytics tools only told you what happened, not why. So we built Intelligence.
Intelligence is a free onboarding audit tool built into Groom. You enter your software URL into Intelligence, and in 60 seconds it gives you a complete onboarding health check. No account required. No setup. No waiting.
Here is what it actually does.
The moment you submit your URL, Intelligence starts scanning your product's first impression the way a real user would. It checks whether your value proposition is clear within the first five seconds. It evaluates your CTA visibility and whether a new visitor knows what to do next. It looks at your onboarding entry points, your mobile experience, and whether you have any in-app guidance elements helping users find their way.
When the scan is done, you get a score out of 100 and a full breakdown of what is passing, what needs attention, and what is critical.
The results are direct. If Intelligence finds that you have no onboarding flow after sign-up, it tells you. If your value proposition takes too long to communicate, it tells you. If your mobile experience is losing users before they ever reach your core feature, it tells you that too. And it tells you why each issue matters, not just that the issue exists.
We have been obsessed with one idea since we started building Groom: most software products are losing users to problems they cannot see. The product works. The features are there. But the experience between arriving and understanding is broken, and nobody on the team can see it because they already know the product too well.
Intelligence was built to be the outside eye. The first scan. The honest report that tells you what a stranger sees when they land on your product for the very first time.
We tested it on some amazing, and robust software. The results were revealing, even for products that are considered well-built. Nobody is perfect at onboarding. And most teams have no idea where their biggest gaps are until something like this surfaces them.

If you are a founder, an indie hacker, vibe coder, software developer, a product manager, or anyone responsible for user activation, I think this is worth three minutes of your time once we go live. We built Groom to guide every user, every step of the way. Intelligence is where that conversation starts.
